Fulfillment, 3PL and marketplaces

GEO for fulfillment and marketplace logistics companies

I connect fulfillment services to the products, packing operations and shipping models sellers actually ask AI assistants about.

A marketplace seller rarely asks only for a generic warehouse. The practical question is who can package liquid goods, apply labels, prepare a marketplace shipment or handle FBS orders. AI needs evidence tied to those specific tasks before it can recommend an appropriate provider.

Buying intent: product × operation × fulfillment model

I separate queries by product category (cosmetics, household chemicals, automotive fluids), operation (labeling, shrink wrap, protective packaging) and marketplace model such as FBO or FBS.

  • Who can prepare shampoo and gel shipments for Wildberries and Ozon?
  • Which provider can wrap, label and ship household chemicals?
  • Who can handle liquid products and traceability marking?
  • Which fulfillment operator supports FBS and returns?

What credible fulfillment evidence looks like

Generic claims about handling every product category are weak. More useful evidence includes actual processing operations, acceptance conditions, shipment case studies, constraints, price calculation and verifiable reviews. Website details should agree with external profiles and publications.

Experience: Prep-Center

For Prep-Center, the initial audit tested 19 commercial questions across 4 AI interfaces. The brand was absent from all 76 answers. The project then organized company facts, created pages for product categories and operations, and connected real warehouse cases with external publications.

The published case study reports 17 mentions in 57 answers (29.8% BMR) on August 31, 2026, and 6 paying customers attributed to AI discovery during the first 1.5 months. The original and follow-up measurements did not use exactly the same AI panel. No single publication can be credited for the entire change.

My implementation sequence

  1. Map the product categories and commercial tasks sellers ask about.
  2. Check service pages, pricing, FAQ, address data and external profiles.
  3. Connect category needs to actual operations, cases and quotation paths.
  4. Measure the same questions again and evaluate both mentions and lead quality.

Measurement beyond mentions

BMR is the share of answers that mention a brand. It is not a revenue metric. Visits, inquiries and paid orders require separate attribution, and a citation of the brand's website should not be mistaken for a positive recommendation.

Frequently asked questions

How is fulfillment GEO different from SEO?
SEO helps people find relevant service pages. GEO additionally tests whether AI assistants recommend the company for specific seller needs and which sources support those recommendations.
Does every marketplace need a separate landing page?
Only where shipping models, acceptance rules, operations or buyer intent differ meaningfully. Near-duplicate pages are not helpful.
How do you measure AI recommendations for cosmetics packaging?
Use a fixed set of non-branded prompts and AI interfaces, repeat them over time and review the correctness of service descriptions in addition to mentions.
Does a higher BMR guarantee more sales?
No. BMR measures mentions. Inquiries and sales need their own verified attribution.
